PolyGone Systems has been awarded a $1.9M grant from the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration through the National Sea Grant Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act Marine Debris Challenge Competition. They share this award with the New York Sea Grant, a cooperative program between the State University of New York, Cornell University, and the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration. PolyGone will use this funding to optimize, manufacture, and deploy full-scale pilots of their artificial root filtration system, in both wastewater effluent streams and polluted tributaries across the Hudson River Watershed.
